Rules and Regulations

Harkers Island RV Resort is a family park. Please treat your neighbors and other people in the park as you would like to be treated. Please use good judgment and conduct yourself in a respectful, friendly, courteous and safe manner. Please promptly report problems to a HIRV Resort staff member and complete an incident report if the situation merits such. No convicted felons will be allowed on the premises. All patrons will undergo a background check.

-- I understand that utilities will be disconnected and my unit moved from the lot to storage, at my expense, if my lot fee is delinquent. Moving and storage charges are a minimum of $100. A $75 service charge will be made to reconnect. Should I vacate the lot, or fail to make timely payment, HIRV Resort reserves the right to issue the lot to another camper and hold and dispose of private property to satisfy the debt.

-- HIRV Resort reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time and remove your unit from the lot. If the conduct of the occupants or their guest(s) is dangerous, or disruptive to others in the park, or is in violation of the park rules and regulations, or if the appearance or condition of the unit or the lot is not maintained satisfactorily, the occupant may be asked to vacate the lot immediately and remove the unit within 30 days. Occupants will be held strictly responsible for the conduct of their guest(s), and all guest(s) will be required to comply with all rules and regulations of the park. Any disruptive guest will be removed from the premises immediately. Harkers Island RV Resort is a family oriented facility and all occupants are required to conduct themselves so as to provide a safe and wholesome family atmosphere.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or changes made to a reservation more than 14 days prior to arrival date will incur an administration fee of $50.00
Cancellation or changes made to a reservation less than 14 days prior to arrival date will incur a $100.00 fee.
No refunds for early departures or adverse weather.

Golf Carts

I understand that I must carry liability insurance on my golf cart and submit a copy to the park manager. I am responsible for any injury or damaged caused by my golf cart regardless of who is driving. I agree to pay for any injuries or damage caused by my golf cart. If my golf cart is operated in an unsafe manner, I understand that it must be removed form the park upon request of the management. I understand that my cart must be kept in good repair and must be issued a 2016 HIRVR sticker by staff before use this year. Loud, disruptive or profane music from golf cars, cars or campsites is not permitted and if not correct after ONE warning, is caused for dismissal from campground and immediate removal of golf cart, vehicle or camper. Carts must have headlights and tail lights. By signing my agreement and payment my lot rent, I agree that i am responsible for the safe operation of my golf cart at all times.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are Midnight until 7:00am. All loud noise and music shall cease during these hours.

Alcohol

No drunken disruptive behavior will be tolerated.

Parents

Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children.

Visitors

All visitors must register in the office and display a visitor pass in their vehicle.

Use of Your Unit

Only the agreement holder and their immediate family may use the unit. NO SUBLETTING.

Unattended Young People

Children may not be left unattended at any time. Teenagers may not stay in the park unless a parent is present in the same unit.

Vehicles & Parking

Please obey the 10 MPH speed limit. Protect our children. Please park on your site and do not block neighbor's lot or park in the street. NO parking on vacant lots. No electric scooters, 4-wheelers or ATVs.

Construction

Any site construction/additions with require management approval.

Pets

We are pet friendly as long as your pets are friendly. Please keep pets on your site or on a leash. This includes all animals, not just dogs. Please clean up behind your pets.

Responsibility

Harkers Island RV Resort is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury occurring within the park.

Music

To allow everyone to enjoy the park, be courteous about your choice of music and volume. Profanity, vulgar lyrics and excessive volume will not be allowed.

Campsite Maintenance & Waste Disposal

Please bag and dispose of your garbage in the dumpster provided on-site.
